End Of The Year

Hi all!

It’s crazy that it is already the end of the year! We wanted to wish everyone happy holidays and to get plenty of rest and such.

We have reached out to those we have selected as Beta Readers for fantasy (romantasy) novel, Peace at Journey’s End (Not Final Title), and look forward to getting their feedback! If you haven’t signed up to volunteer as Beta Reader and/or ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) Reviewer, you can still do so on the Google Form. Below is the synopsis we provided in our last post:

Peace at Journey’s End (Not Final Title) follows twenty-six year old Elysia, the Chosen One, and her childhood best friend Cassius, the Smithy in her hometown of Peace.

Elysia returns to Peace after being gone for more than a decade to train and ultimately kill the Demon King that was told to be a threat to all. She did her duty and killed the Demon King, fulfilling the prophecy that was made more than a millennia ago, but not without costs. The things she learned while she was on her quest had changed her. She left Peace as a child who couldn’t wait to explore the world. Now, she wants to live her life on her terms, whatever they may be.

Cassius had lost his parents and wife Raine, who was his and Elysia’s childhood friend, during Elysia’s absence. With nothing to lose, Cassius had been ready to leave Peace and explore what the world had to offer. Now that his best friend is back, Cassius’ biggest regret may be able to be resolved.

While the two friends reunite and catch up, a threat approaches their town, the very same one that took Cassius’ wife from him. In a kingdom where magic was thought gone for a millennia, Cassius’ insatiable thirst for knowledge may be sated with the return of Elysia if she can be convinced to change her stance on magic.
